I can tell the black route will be great in the summer. It was so wet on Sunday though I spent a lot of the time making sure I didn't lose a shoe or my footing!
I might be venturing back this Sunday if we don't get too much rain this week...
What did you manage in the end? I knew I had no chance of PBing at Dartford so was happy to do just under 1h45. i was treating it as part of my training for FLM. Nice to meet you on Sunday and put face to name.
Hiya CB, was quite funny when the penny dropped
I got under 1:17, only a minute slower than last year (I can live with a 6 second per mile loss of pace).
Thanks to the organisers and all the marshalls today and well done to all the racers.
It was a really enjoyable race.
ive never done this one before,it was a bit hilly for my liking, but a nice course,i wish i could of took in the scenery a bit more though.
i though it was well organised and the pa at the start and finish was informative and knowledgable.
one minor niggle though,we had to wait a while before we could get out of the car park,on the otherhand though,at least we had some where to park,so i cant complain.
