Probably only need a single female place now, as I think I may be able to get one from ebay.

Thanks

There's always Bideford half on the same day, or Taunton half marathon a few weeks later, you can still enter either event.

Thanks Muzza, Bideford is a bit to far for me to get to. We have entered the White Horse HM on 7/04/2013 which is the same day as Taunton. Training has gone far better than we thought and we fancy a bigger more comercial run so we could go a bit slower and not end up last  in prep for White Horse HM (where we will probably come last).

There's the Longleat Half Marathon the week after Bath but I guess you probably know that anyway.

Ive got my race pack already for Bath ......... but I'll only be running about 1.5 miles (true story) and will probably do it in about 20 minutes (also true).

Ok then, go on... Why only 1.5 miles? And why will it take 20 mins?

lol, I thought I would do a 'Mo' to prove a point.

Only joking, Im entering the 'family fun run' on the same day (I think it starts 30 minutes after the HM's take off....) ....... its kind of my way of getting my 6 year old into running. He lives in Bath, so its kind of works out perfectly.

In my defense, I am in the Reading HM a couple of weeks later, so Im not like totally lazy.

DF3 -- I see! 1.5 miles in 20 mins is probably pretty decent for a 6 year old. Well, have fun and I hope you manage to take enough time out of posting on this forum to do the training for Reading

lol, well actually my day job allows me to quickly post in here in between 'coding' ....... you just need to minimize the screen when the boss comes past.

must fight the urge to make a joke ........

27/02/2013 at 12:15

Im sorry why would you like to make a joke exactly?!?

27/02/2013 at 12:18

Because you announced you had a female space ....... that could be interpreted in two ways ..... anyways I won't go into it, I get the feeling youre going to just get mad in  a minute so I'll let you get on with it. Good luck finding someone for your ticket.
