I had a good race. The first mile was faster than I had planed but it felt good. It took longer to get up the hill than I had expected. But I was glad to hold off a group of runners in a sprint finish. I found it hard but was happy to finish in 51.15. official time 51.42. I started my watch as I crossed the start line.
It was nice to see and have a chat with some old running pals from Bearbrook. A big thanks to the organisers and marshalls, for once again putting on a great race.
Rich k, I look forward to seeing the photos.
