Just wanted to make a post highly recommending the Belvoir challenge. The staff were all very friendly, food was great at all the stops, the terrain was varied: hills, grass fields, dirt tracks, road and although there was a bit of mud it wasn't impossible ( although I did lose a trainer at one point but quickly recovered it).
The only bad point was the constant styles which had to be crossed, but really this was fine because it gave you a bit of a rest as the bottle neck of runners passed over them. It was quite entertaining watching others try to find alternate ways through the hedge- one poor woman sailed over the fence straight into an electric fence!
Great 2013 run, looking forward to 2014. Might try the 26 instead of the 15 mile next time.
