Thanks for fabulous race...

Wedding Ring

Had it on chain around my neck, chain came undone on BIG downhill slope before flat bit at mile 1. Passed that point again between mile 2 & 3, didn't see it. Told marshalls just in case (marshalls were so good on race they MUST have superhero powers!!!)

Ring is silver colour with inscription inside.

Lesson learnt, leave jewellery at home.

Sorry to hear that Ian, hope it's found...or it might pop up in a couple 100 years time and become a museum piece!

I took my rings off and left them with hubby to take care of.

second time for me think i prefer new course( with mud not wind would be perfect !!)

thanks to marshalls you were brilliant again this year ,finish was a tad harsh though

I ran this 10years ago for the first time , so to Finnish 20 mins quicker made me feel pretty good ( hope it wasn't anything to do with the course change )
As for the run . The headwind was challenging , to say the least, the hill at benfleet stn slaughtered me .the hill to the Finnish killed me ,but ... The worse part was the ,up hill hike to my car that had me cursing until I finally got there ... Fantastic , I feel real proud to have completed it . Great race and fantastic marshalling ....
