Great run as always, excellent organisation, marshalling, route and general atmosphere!

Wasn't really bothered by the mud / puddles to be honest, just made sure I went through one early on so it couldn't get any worse.

Managed to knock 7 mins off my PB and come in at 1:38 too, so a good day all round!!

Thanks to all involved, see you next year...

Great event yet again!! Peroni tastes so much better after a half marathon!!

That was a fantastic experience. My first ever race and I won't forget it. Great organisation and thank you to all the marshalls for volunteering so many hours of their time. I was nervous at the start but chatting with so many nice people soon settled me down.

I felt like a champ when I got to the finish line. I will be back next year for sure.

Lovely race! I made the mistake of jumping over or side stepping the puddle. Legs are still suffering as a result! A Big thanks to organisers and marshalls who made it such a friendly occasion. See you all again next year.

A PW for me !!! hahahahahahahaha never mind it was my plan to be slow....even slower than normal that is !!  A guy started behind me in baseball boots  I wasn't happy when he overtook me at 6 miles!!!  Lovely chatting with folks in the Q

I had minor hysterics in the pub after when I realised it was a PW!!

The weather was great in the end  started pouring as I finished

well done to all  lovely marshalls

Think the rock was from last year.....along with the bag!!???

08/07/2012 at 09:37

No rock in mine

So far not a single photo of me, was it a dream!?

I hope there are more photos to come!!!!

08/07/2012 at 12:10

You wouldn't have wanted the rock, not even my boy would eat it after the first bite and that's saying something!!!

and it takes a while for all the photo's to be loaded can't see any of me yet either...although that might be a good thing!!

I stayed 2.5 hours taking 800 photo's, but I had to go to another event, so I'm afraid the BBCHM photo's will be delayed since you have photo's at the finish anyway.

Reminder my photo's are FREE to download.

Hi All - just to say well done to all for taking part yesterday - muddy wonderful effort! Great to see many familiar and new faces and lots of smiles in spite of the weather! Thank you for saying "thanks" to the marshal team as you ran by - it is a long day for them so your appreciation is most welcome. Hope the trainers wash up OK

Alas I was off to Somerset ! I hope you had a beer for me.

A PW for me but I absolutely loved it! Friendly and well-organised with a great route - what more can you ask for? A huge thank you to the organisers and marshalls, I will definitely be back next year

A PB for me - for this event anyway (well it is was my first time here) but not an all time PB - mud, puddles, dark tunnel, a gazillion little bridges - fabulous, loved it and will be back next year. Marshals were brilliant, organisation was great, showers a massage and then a beer or six lovin it!
