Brighton Half Marathon 2013 - Events

After the fiasco of 2012 is anyone planning on running this year? I'm hoping to get into London this year, and planning on running this half for definite and a couple others if I don't make London. Does anyone know when you can get your place for the Brighton Half?

yea id like to run this race again was my first time last year and enjoyed it albeit the extra distance cock up ..ive applied for london to ..ive ran brighton marathon last 3 years ..last time i looked it wasnt open to enter just yet

I'd really like to run Brighton half again next year, as I really enjoyed this year. I know that they messed up the distance and all that, but I really enjoyed the route, flat and fast with a lovely sea breeze. I really liked the medal too

You can now book your place in the 2013 Brighton half marathon, I entered earlier this week. <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: 15px; line-height: 19px; color: #000000;">www.brightonhalfmarathon.com. I will be using this race as preparation for the Brighton marathon.

Been reading all the reviews and in two minds on this one, the organisation sounds shocking, wrong course distance etc etc. Are they going to improve things for this year, is it worth doing - advise please?

I have signed up for this as my first (and hopefully not last ) HM. Despite there being lots of mixed reviews, as its my local I thought that I would give it a go. Really looking forward to it already. Apparently they were inundated with applications after the GNR on Sunday so will probably be fully booked soonish.
