Had a touch of the spen's at Brighton and got cramp at mile 6 that went savage on me at 19 miles and I shuffled in at 4.42. I was on for 3:59 up until 19 though. I'm all over the 9mm pace this time though. Failure is not an option - unless I get an idiot case of cramp again!!!

News just in!

Brighton Marathon weekend to be televised!

The Grounded Events Company is really pleased to announce that the Brighton Marathon and Mini Mile Races will be shown as a one hour highlights programme on Channel 4.

The date the programme is to be broadcasted is not yet known and more information will follow as soon as we know more.

thats good news as show rest england how big it has grown and the wonderful course so for 2014 get your entries in quick as lot more people will want to do it !!!!!!!!!

well i did the 3 forts marathon 2 weeks ago in thick wet sticky mud , oh what joys but did it in hour 56 or so and amazingly came 76th

so i have paid and entered next years marathon so see ya all there
