Burnham Beeches Half Marathon 2012

Burnham Beches Half Marathon is promising to be day out for all the family this year - how many half marathons offer use of a swimming pool! Along with fun run, various vendors, music, food and drink. Why not pring a picnic?

I did this a couple of years ago.

Two laps - not my favourite - and if I remember rightly a very long walk from the finish to the car park?

Lovely race. Very attractive route - undulating but not too bad. Can get warm but lots of shade. Well organised and well  marshalled.

For me - definitely one of the more enjoyable half marathons.

There is a bit of a hike from the car park but a longish walk shouldn`t trouble a half marathon runner. Excellent warm up.

I prefer a shortish walk after I've run a half marathon, personally!
