Of course I remember you!!!   I was looking out for you but not seen you on any other threads.  It's nice to see you.  Just started running again beginning of January...  am just at the point where I can cruise 5k without having to walk, but not got the confidence to race yet, but may come to watch and maybe try one in March.

Great pics RG, thanks

PQ - your welcome. Glad you like them.

Nam - I havn`t done anything since Afan but am planning on doing it again this year. Someone has to be last heh heh. I am not sure when I will be down for CBTT again but will let you know when I am. You would love it and the beauty of the TT`s are you are competing against yourself.

The Bushey Park TT has people running round with their dogs and pushing buggies (Not sure if that would work at CBTT though as the course is narrower) They are fun though (especially when taking pics and not running LOL)

Sarah

p.s. Forgot to say, another good thing about CBTT is the yummy brekkie from Tescos for a reasonable price heh heh

Yep Rodiogirl - great pics, thanx.

Agree, we were straight in Tescos afterwards for a lovely brekkie!  I earned it, that's my argument lol.

daz are you on one of the pics so i can put a face to a name?

Nam - I will have a look in my diary but I know hubby is doing IMUK this year so camping twice in one month might be a bit much. I have never camped before!!!!

RG - I am on the pics, but can't see them properly now, bloody work computer.  I came in 16th, weraing blue Nike shorts, white Nike T-shirt, and blue'ish gloves as it was freezing lol.  Defo saw you, but didn't know whe you were lol.

We were also in Tescos later.

daz - My daughter was laughing at the thought that you were warm enough to wear shorts and tee shirt but needed gloves. Still looking for your pic.

daz - did you have a bandage on your knee?

19/02/2008 at 18:05
I always wear shorts - don't do men in tight lol.  However, my little fingers feel the cold, and it was bitter
19/02/2008 at 18:06
Yep - a knee support!
19/02/2008 at 19:45

My hubby had shorts and  tee shirt on he said he had to clench his fists when running as his fingers hurt so much with the cold while running.   My fingers where ok but ny fet were so cold they hurt when I walked. I ned to dig out my thick socks!

RG - My toes felt fused together with the cold before the race  . They warmed up though once I got going. I too always need gloves as I've always got cold hands !

Daz - "Don't do men in tights" - I'd be worried if you did !!!!!

I've definately got to do this some time...maybe the weekend after the Llanelli Half...depending on how I am feeling!

Hi katie,

It is a lovely course. My hubby loved running it and got a pb.
