I like to take my 42" wide screen television on long training runs with me-I find just listening to music a bit dull.

i bought an expensive 13.1" screen from cardiff and when i got home realised it was only 12.9" hows that for a con!!

Not sure what this says about me, but I rarely train with an mp3 player, but always wear one for a race! (although I don't always use it)

Juat had an email with link for photos. God, they're bad. I am not even in half of them and the ones I am in you can just about see an arm or leg or top of a head. Is it just mine that are bad?

the video piece looks like the cameraman was filming from north devon! theres only 2 pics of me

perhaps its my west brom shirt that put the photographer off.

My pictures are quite good, and I never saw one photographer. I don't get why the prices are in US dollars though.

Next year I'm going to run and extra half mile after the finish. Just to make sure I get the distance.

Hi All

Just to let you know that this morning I measured the actual course that we ran last week (I am a qualified Course Measurer). I tried to measure as close to the racing line that we had last week, but there were a few parked cars this morning.

The course came out as 12.89 miles, which makes it 338m short, there would have been thousands of people who actually ran shorter than that from all the corner cutting that was going on, and from what I saw on TV there was lots of course cutting going on in the park as well.

Looks as though there were problems with the Birmingham Half yesterday too.
