Well shall we all make this our home for the next 12 months:-)

Count me in for the 1/2 next time. Have always been reluctant to take the 1/2 marathon option when the full is available. But no doubt I will get over it. Besides I have other ideas for an autumn marathon next year.

Thinking of doing this race, whether I do the full marathon or the half I have yet to decide as I have a few marathons I would like to do next year.

Half marathon in 2005 - its gonna be a full in 2006 (I hope).

Will defo do the full again, enjoyed this race, and with a years training I will hopefully get my sub 4 (4:01 this year) by a decent margin.

Glad to have you all on board I am in two minds wether to do full marathon as I want to go back to Amsterdam, but this is on home ground and only chance of sleeping in my bed the night before a marathon.Oh well I have ages to decide;-)

Trust Poppy to get this one started - reliable as ever!

I hope to not miss the closing date in 2006, and be running a super PB in this race (half!). Alternatively, I am more than happy to be the unofficial RW support again! Let's see what the next 11 months bring......

Nope, I am sticking to the half again - I really don't fancy doing 2 laps of the same course (and I'm a bit lazy, too!).

Possibly just the half this time round, depends on what / where the autumn marathon might be. But never know will probably do the full one after gentle persuasion

By the way Sam, someone did take the lucozade quite soon after you threw it over to me - he seemed very appreciative of it!

No thanks, entered 3 times, been ill 3 times. This race is cursed.

May do the half again but there are a lot of halves that I want to do in October and I will have to decide which ones to drop.
Just done Salisbury to complete the one a week (Bristol, Cardiff, Amsterdam, Stroud & Salisbury) and like WP I want to go back to Amsterdam.

Jen...glad to know it was useful. By that stage I was sick of Lucozade, sick of running and generally just feeling sick. Nevermind eh, maybe better luck and a better stomach in 2006. WIll you be providing the musical support, or running next year?

T Rex (PB attempt here this time - had to pull out of Abingdon with chest infection/pneumonia problems)

bern - there was a knee-high post to avoid leaving the barrage section, and both times I thought of you. They hepfully put a large cone on top of it and placed a marshal at that point.

lesson to be learnt - don't run into posts

No brainer for me - I had to drop out- goes against the grain but having done 3 - too much respect for the distance. knee still not right after 3 weeks - have not had a run since -

The way i see it is
.
.
say it was New York - flights and accomidation booked
maybe 2 or 3 thousand quid in sponsorship riding on it

pressure is then on

looking forward to kill the ghost in 2006

(still pissed off mind)
