24/09/2010 at 16:41

Filled in my entry form - to be posted tomorrow (on my way to Cannon Hill parkrun). Any idea what the new route is like?

Chris M, you can have my pudding, I cannot stand them, we usally throw them away or leave them in the school hall.

Road-Kill there is a copy of the route on the Sneyd Striders web site-  www.sneydstriders.org.uk it looks like it still takes in parts of the old route.

I am eye-ing this as my last race of the year. Have never done this one and wanna do it as it's so close to me. Will get entry done asap.

I seen the route for the old circuit but wonder what the new one will be like. It'll be a well organised event as it's ran by a running club

Chris M consider yourself +1 on the puddings. I can't eat them.

lol!! I've never known a forum talk so much about food rather than  the actual race
28/10/2010 at 10:51
Steven, I merely consider it a form of post race carb loading, which reminds me, anyone know a good pub near the finish
28/10/2010 at 13:05

LOL! Yeah Pud, just what the post racer needs for ideal caro-refil screw the banana and cereal bars bring on the pud lol!!

There's a pub within walking distance 5-10 mins called "The Milestone". I'm sure a few of us will go down there for a pint after. I live locally and liver for 10 years just around the corner from here so know the area well. I was a paperboy in the little newsagents next to the pub! 90p a round. No dole dossing here

You looking forward to this one Chris?

IF I'm off that day I'll do this one too

I don't like puddings but Mr D would probably not be happy if I gave it away as he loves them
28/10/2010 at 13:25

I'm in! Got my number and chip a couple of weeks ago now. This is a bit of a grudge match between me and my Dad - he beat me at a 10K in the summer. My excuse is that, being as he's 6' 1" and I'm only 5' 3", his legs are MUCH longer than mine....and I'm much more of a long-distance person anyway. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Bring it on!
