Every year this race gets described as flat yet it has a long slow climb up Brodie Avenue and then just when the uninitiated think they have broken the back of it it turns a corner and there is another grind up Rose Lane, this is Mossley Hill and I have it on good authority from someone in a pub that this is the highest point in the City of Liverpool. Perhaps Runners World should weed out these mis descriptions.
