Clarendon Marathon

HI,

I am thinking of doing my second ever marathon (lots of half marathons under my belt but only ever done one marathon before) and I am wondering about the Clarendon marathon. Does anyone have experience of this one? Is it hilly/flat? Would it be good for a second marathon or is it more of a challenge?

the route follows the Clarendon way from Salisbury to Winchester and is virtually all off road. It is fairly hilly and, in places, extremely sticky underfoot for most of the year. It is therefore definitely challenging, but you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the Hampshire countryside.
