Thanks PSC and bo-bo for the excellent company and support today at Faversham. Nice to see PSC in his traditional role

LOL.... just found this!

Thoroughly enjoyed pitstopping.  Lovely to see you both too.  Faversham looked fun - I think that's the second year running I've thought to myself that maybe I should have a crack at that one.

I am looking forward to spending the day wioth Mrs PSC on Sunday 14 while PSC exerts himself on the roads around my mansion and the waters where the next DK parkrun may well be set up

Did I mention what an excellent lap counter bo-bo was last week or is it too late for trying to deflect any flak?

way too late!   Although it should be pointed out that anyone being counted at Bo-bo's end actually had to run the full distance......   Sorry about that!

At least the chap given 2nd had the 'decency' to apologise for running a lap short - personally I think he should have been shown as DNF.

I agree

it got fairly heated at the other end of the table real shame as otherwise the event was terrific - for what it's worth I reckon 1/3 of the field ran short, a good number of whom were giving placing.

The gent I was sat next to was extremely disappointed - he pointed out a few obvious ( to all of us! ) discrepancies and was met with hostility. I was saddened that the vast majority of runners who were favoured didn't own up - hopefully they will get an extra lap off St Nick!

I heard it got a bit heated, surprising for a fun event. Danny Kaye isn't like that at all normally. I hear there wasn't much attention to detail being paid at the far end of the table - if that had been the case at Pam's track race she would have been on their case but it was alright at Faversham......odd. Surprised at Sid not being a bit more robust too but he looked like he had a lot on his plate. Well done to the professional counters.

A bottle of ginger wine would come in handly bo-bo and I am already onto PSC about football cones

My Colemans supply is dangerously low too.

If you give me PSC's race number I'll put him on my mobile for txt updates so we know where he is at any given moment

... I never did find Danny Kaye funny Wonderful wonderful CPH my a***!

PSC dun good.

I had the benefit of bo-bo all day (literally - from God a.m. till PSC deigned to cross the line with his shiny new PB as darkness (and rain) closed in!

rather belatedly... that was rather good fun.  4 days on and everything is packed away/washed/etc.  DOMS been and gone and thinking of a little recovery jog at some point in the very near future.

Thanks again for the support - it's a hell of a way to spend a day isn't it!

Park run photos are up, blog done and now wondering what to do for the rest of the day...

BBQ was on the cards, but it's just started raining.  Ho hum!

Where's next then?

Paul - we are doing the Brecons in Nov.... not sure I've got 40 miles in my little legs, but it will be a good yomp if nothing else!  No full distance next year - might do a bit of shorter stuff.
