Another PB smashed!

A welcome return to racing for me in Witney yesterday, after the foot problems at Arundel a few weeks ago, saw me run 1-06-21 over a hilly 10m course. I reckon this placed me 25th out of around 200 runners. It wasn't the most gruelling 10 miler, but had a couple of nasties in there and the drag uphill from 1.5 to 3.5 was most pleasant [not]. I was well chuffed, especially as the last mile was my quickest at 6.15 following an awful climb to the 9 mile mark, and my previous 10m PB was 2 mins slower over a flatter course.

Anyone know if results are available on a website later this week?

Nice one Jeffsy, you must be pretty fit to take 2 minutes off your PB on a tougher course. Well done.

Jeffsy,
good going mate, it's always great to run a PB, particularly over a less than optimal course, nice one.

Ran my first Witney yesterday, I am not in Jeffsy's league, but was hoping for 8 min miles, am well chuffed with my time of 80:55 given the course.

Yes that's good going well done. There is enough honesty in that course to make anything sub 9 mins very respectable.

Well done both. I'm enjoying reading other people's accounts of their various weekend races
