Crieff 10k 2012

Entries are now open for this year's Crieff 10k Link to www.entrycentral.com. More information can be found at Link to www.strathearnharriers.org.uk. Unfortunately, after 4 good years of support, The Famous Grouse Experience have withdrawn their sponsorship this year as the brand is trying to distance itself from sport. This means that the race name has reverted to the plain old "Crieff 10k" and there may not be the usual nip of whisky in the goody bag. Apart from that it'll be the same beautiful trail run alongside the River Earn, the same pipers encouraging you up the hill and at various points around the course, the same post-race spread and the same friendly atmosphere.

What do you think of our race mug design? Order has been placed so one of these to all runners.

Last day for online entries http://www.entrycentral.com/index.php?raceID=100337  We will accept entries on the day too at £12/£14 (SAF/Non-SAF) but as we have a race limit of 300 (and only 300 race mugs!) and we usually get 100 or so on-the-day entries I would recommend online entry or turning up in good time on Sunday morning. Race starts at 11.00 and registration open from 9.30-10.30.

Word of warning: For the first-time ever, we may have a problem with parking on the school playing fields at Dallerie given the recent weather so you may need to park on the roads near the race - allow a little extra time for this please!

It's going to be a bit of a mud-fest in places around the course so come prepared - off-road shoes advised!!!

That's it for another year. A real mud-fest but everyone seemed to enjoy it all despite (or maybe because of) that.
