Anyone else doing this? For those of you who don't know it it's a great little 5k through the Wedgwood estate, albeit with a steep climb up to about the 2k point. Many runners like myself use the route as part of their normal training as the roads are wide and generally quiet, its my favourite area certainly and the race route obviously avoids the level crossings.

Higher cost than a normal 5k but all pennies going to a good cause.

Yes, I'm definitely up for this.......Fantastic cause. The Macmillan staff are angels and they need every penny. They are 100% funded from donations. We might need them one day.

Yes, me too!  This will be my first 5k run, a bit nervous but looking forward to it.  It's definitely a fantastic cause!

You'll be fine, it's a friendly, low key and mixed ability event, especially with the walkers there, a really good way to start off. The Donna Louise 5k / 10k event at trentham in May is similarly friendly if you haven't already spotted that one, also recommended with the money going to a good cause. Both events have the odd hill to make it a bit more interesting too....

Another good one for the diary there then!
