What everyone running this weekend ?

For me its 10 tonight, parkrun Saturday and 15 on Sunday. Its going to be a demanding few days

Decided it was too hot to run today so went to the beach instead.  Will try a run tomorrow

It has been very hot, even in the evenings. Much better this morning it seems a bit over case although it is still warm out there

I live in Reading and when I look at the weather forecast we have a big 30 degrees over us each day, not complaining as its just great to have good weather. Did six miles this morning but early, 6am.

Good weather Is nice, but it doesn't help us runners!! Ive heard it will last till August so we all will just have to remember to keep hydrated.

6@6 - I couldn't get up that early to run Atom, so well done you for that.

Hi all, is it ok if I join in? I'm looking at doing Dublin as well. I'm following the Hal Higdon novice 2 plan, so six miles for me this yesterday too.

Sounds like your doing a similar program to Bracken.

I got out and did 15 miles yesterday, which went really well and this is the route i took

It was really warm again, but there was a cool breeze about , so that helped me out.

I did the We Love Manchetser 10k yesterday. 45 mins 36 seconds. A PB by over a minute. Very hot though.

Yes, this will be my first marathon. I've been running on and off for a few years now, since 2010. Did a half marathon that year, which is the furthest I've run. I lost my running mojo for a while, but seem to have it back this year. I'm a slow and steady kind of runner, but enjoying it.

I did my run this morning at 6am. Far cooler.

 

Enjoyed it. not yet fallen asleep at my desk.

Good plan James - might try the same tomorrow. Had to do the dreaded lunchtime treadmill. In serious danger of falling asleep at my desk!

6am wow so impressed with people who get up that early and go running, although saying that im going to attempt to do just that tomorrow as I play schedule juggling to keep the OH happy at the weekend he he

Falling a asleep at the desk, ive come close to that, in fact last week I was drifting off at a conference!!

Just back from my 9 miler, bored of running in heat now lol But least its brought me plenty of strawberries and raspberries form which ive been making milkshakes so not all bad.

Another 6 miler at 7am this morning. I tell you what is is fabulous being out at that time of day.

And it makes a change from running when I get home from work.

This could catch on.

I didnt make it up on time myself he he. But the thought was there. I need to get to bed before midngith more often then morning runs before work, might work out for me!

Well done again James.

I did 5 last night and doing 5 again tommorrow.
