Stumpy, might well have been at the Ranelagh 1/2

I do remember someone with long dark hair I didn't know cheering on people I did

okay - saw Little Nemo then, think I saw you as well, there was someone else. Think I was warbling on about breathing problems and garmins

Not sure GM. Possibly. Not done a lot of running cos of a recurring injury but I've got a few weeks to go yet!!

See how you feel GE.

I'm leaving this forum now - but can be found on the Elmbridge one, plus New Forest Half one, and see if there's a Harry Hawkes one.

If I know how to add a link I would - but dont, soz.

Ooh good - does that mean we can gossip about GM now? :oD

yep, Cookie, that would have been me! Hollywood was laughing that I managed to make it into RichK's photos as I ran the last mile with Bertie to encourage her to the finish.

bear, sounds familiar. I would have been the little heap on the floor stretching my back and legs.

Could've looked at the camera, Stumpy

And there's one of me!

Has anyone lost a Oddballs Perch tee shirt in a small size? I accidentially took one home with me from the start at the Ranelage 10K on Sunday. I am happy to return it if I can find it's owner.

Thanks for all your comments, both here and in the ratings. I would like to point out that the reason that there are so many club runners at this race is that it is a Surrey County championship, and, at least for Ranelagh, it is one of the races in our road racing points prize. Also, quite a few of the runners wearing club vests are beginners, since 10k is a good race distance to start at. People who belong to running clubs are not necessarily elite runners! 4 of the last 5 finishers at the Dysart Dash were club runners.
We also hope to start this race one hour earlier next year, so it may be a bit cooler!
