If anyone heard a numpty running around witha pocket full of change that was me, sorry. Bought some sweets before, put the change in my pocket and the sweetes in a bag. damned annoying all the way round, but on the positive side my kids enjoyed the sweets when i got them back at the end. Managed to drag myself to new found pain in 3:35, am hoping to be able to walk downstairs forwards soon. RB

Were you wearing a pair of dark shorts (maybe blue), as I did pass someone rattling with a lot of change that I thought was rather peculiar, I thought that maybe it was for a taxi for later in the run!

How could you tell the relay runners?
Were they finishing at the 3hr 20 min mark??

They had different coloured numbers, I finished just under 4 hours, and only noticed 3 pass me.

I doubt if any caught up with you at 3hrs 20mins!

My last 4 miles were a mare, all was passing......

Can anyone enlighten me with my exact finish time and placing please.

Number 1953 Ian Gray finished around 3:23:51. I got carted off by the first aid on the finish line as I only belonged to the knackers yard at that point.

Twiddled our thumbs impatiently until the postman delivered a set of results a few weeks after the race....then you felt disappointed that your actual time was 4 seconds slower than you had expected from your watch??!! ;-(

Katypie, funny you should mention Great2Run - I've been meaning to send my form off for weeks. What do you think of the course? Does it take as long to complete as it says on the website?

That was before the event, We have no idea what our times are.

Both myself and TMW had a great day, first Marathon and all. Just hope that we actually popped in around the 4 hours 15 mark.
