I am looking to couple my vacation with either a half or fulll marathon in Luxor february 2004...anyone been there or thinking of doing it?

After Marlow??? You are a glutton for punishment...at least it will not rain in Luxor but may be hot in February. Look out for spitting camels!

Know someone who did this and it was about five laps round a block - not very interesting, blinkin hot and humid too. Why not climb a pyramid in Giza - be more satisfying!

Het tequila, have looked at the map and it IS a few times around the block! I have reconsidered and am planning on running the 10k. once around the block with loads of cool sights to see.

Well, I did it. The marathon would have been extremely boring. Went for the once around the block 12k. It was fun!
