Ths was an interesting event last year, complete with a thin covering of snow on a very cold day. Highly recommended, quite low key and easy parking / good facilities. Anyone else going?

Yes, the date and the location are favourable.

Does the course get very boggy or was it frozen last time you ran?

I ran this 2/3 years ago (when it was on mothers day I think) and dont remember it being muddy/boggy. A very enjoyable, challanging, scenic run with some good uphill bits. Doesn't fit in with marathon training for me this year, but hope you all enjoy :-)

I cant imagine it ever getting too boggy, some of it I think was sandy based trails. I think the worst bit was the first 1/2 mile next to the golf course.

The only other advice I can give on this run is to follow the very clearly signed route, and not go the wrong way and add an extra 3/4 mile on to the race.... not that about 5 of us would have been daft enough to do that last year....!

To anyone who has done this event before please note we have had to alter the route slightly as a section of the usual course is not available to use. Take notice of marshalls and marked sections.

All entries on the day will be welcome, here's hoping for some decent weather.

Looking forward to this...

I've just eaten an extra Scotch Egg by way of training :)
