hi tweety, no, I've not run for about 3 months , Tigeress started to work nights last year so I was unable to get out in the evenings. And then I picked up a foot injury. So just  watching at the mo. It's not as much fun but it's less stressfull, I can let the runners worry about the race before hand. But I do miss the excitment, and buzz you get on race morning.

Have not got my race number yet - are they in the post or is a collect on day - does anyone know?

Cheers

It's collect on the day along with the chip time recorder

Planning to EOD tomorrow - will be lovely to be out there - not done this one before - so no PB expected on those hills.  Just hope to get in under 60m - maybe that's wishful thinking.

A thoroughly enjoyable run - thanks to all the cheery marshals and those behind the scenes.

We had a bit of a mixed day, with baby Asics being car sick twice on the way there. But everything turned out for the best when Jade took the honours for first junior girl home. Ronan, our 9 year old had a good run in the fun run. Hartley Hare was that you leading them around,  and a lovely sunny afternoon to finnish off the day.  Seemed  like a very well organised event.

GM, I think I saw you after the race talking to some others outside the village hall. Hope you had a good race.

Anyone know roughly when the results get online?

I presume you would know roughly by how long it took for them to be published last year?

Thanks

congrats to everyone on a great run.  my mum and i (along with mini tweety and OH who we had dragged away from the TV) stood just before the last little hill clapping everyone past.

I agree with the other comments above - congrats to everyone who competed and thanks to the excellent marshalls and organisers.

This was my first EVER race of any kind.....I've only been doing any kind of running since Jan this year and I found it a lot tougher than I thought it would be. Obvious to say it but treadmills dont do road running justice!

Completed it in 49.20, so I'm well happy with that as a first ever time.....now on to the 2 Castles Race 10k in June.....and more hills no doubt!
