Andy, what do you think the key change to your training was to get that improvement. I recently improved from 1:37 at Helsby to 1:29 in Warrington. My long term goal is now 1:19:xx

Luke- i literally just ran more and consistently so for example
2010 race time 1:27:50 was off about 30mpw
2011 race time 1:24:18 was off about 40-60mpw
2012 race time 1:18:00 was off about 65mpw
also with each passing year training is getting more consistent.
its really nothing complicated, just about the hours in consistently week in week out. also its about training sensibly, not running your self into the ground, by this i mean not hammering every single training run.
