Thanks for the link, eggyrocks. Just realised that I wasn't the last home for my club. I just pipped a runner on the line with my impressive finishing sprint (well, slightly faster than normal shuffle!) and it turns she was from the same club but not wearing one of our vests. So it was definitely worth the extra effort, although part of me thinks it probably isn't good to be this competitive.
Nooooo!
The person I thought I finished ahead of has a faster chip time...
I did come last
Thanks for clarification. Well done bootsie
As Bootsie says LN a long as you enjoyed it...and anyway you did it so well done
That's v. true Bootsie and Keith L. I did finish faster than I had thought so it doesn't really matter. I had fun and that's what's really important.
I'll stop sulking in a mo

My chip time of 81.32 precisely matched my stop-watch time. So, no complaints there.
The 'gun to line' time was 82.20, proving once again how useless 'official' times are if you start well behind the line.
***Remembers to kick Brooks rather hard next time I see him***
Kick ? Kick ? Don't you mean scratch me with fully extended claws
Hope you are feeling better todaty Mitts. I still have a stiff leg. Mind you I did beat Richard W by around 5 minutes and he beat me at Buntingford (when I had a bad cold) so at leats normal service is resumed
