My run tonight was 3.5 miles and a 354yd climb. How does that compare?

Thats not bad 900 feet in 3 miles

Its hard to run any decent length over a flat course round here

What's the overall climb likely to be?
11/02/2013 at 14:43

A lot

My Garmin said about 3,000 feet ascent in the first 12.2 miles we were defeated by weather yesterday so I would say about 5500 of ascent as guess

A bit more than Southdowns Marathon and Purbeck

Yesterday's run was a gentle 9 mile, 1500ft climb. I think I really fancy this one.

The early start with 2 kids and a husband is the bit that worries me

Camping, all the cool kids will there. It's only ??5.

We'll have spare room in our eight man monster tent I think

Camping sounds fun, but I doubt the little guy will appreciate it. More over, I doubt the runners will like him waking them at 5am shouting for his favourite t.v. character
