I've been running for just over a year and I've completed 2 RFLs, 5 10Ks, a 10 mile and a half marathon - I think it's about time I joined a club, then I could go to races with a group and it would be less tempting to return to bed!

LTS - and would save you some money in race fees. Affiliated runners pay £2 less than unaffiliated (though some races had their entry forms printed early and still have £1).

LtS - as you know, most runners are very nice people, and you would meet more of them by joining club!

LTS - see we're queuing up to lure you to our respective running clubs......

Blimey - how easy it is to get attention. My local club is in North Devon and I know they meet on Tuesdays - tonight's the night then! No more wimping out of rainy race meets.

LTS - Which North Devon club?

... and how was it for you?

North Devon Road Runners....but I didn't make it. By the time I got home from work the kids were demanding a BBQ etc etc....more guilt. But I did go for a glorious run for an hour about 9PM.

I ran part of Saturday's race with Carol from NDRR, I think they are a good club to join.

Thanks Shades. I expect I'll be able to pick up a membership form at the RFL because NDRR are doing the marshalling.
