They're clearly telling porky pies, as the original entry form definately said a Dry fit Tee. I was quite looking forward to it.
Why exactly did we have to put the size we required on the entry form if they weren't going to have enough? If they had been "Stolen" surely they would have said this when they were taking our details to send our crappy cotton Tee's out. How many were stolen anyway, there were hundreds of us who were left dissappointed.
Not only that I live in the area, and I haven't noticed loads of people (who clearly haven't earn't it) wearing "GRIM" Tee's, but I'll keep eyes open for black market Dry-Fits.
I can't be bothered to fight this one with them, I'll just boycott their products and event's in future. There a plenty of other good races and far better kit.

I can't believe that they are treating you like this, epsecially as you did such a great job at promoting the event on this site.
I have checked the entry form though (as it is still on the website) and it does only say Nike t-shirt...but I would keep fighting your cause as it is their mistake for being so badly organised that they ran out in the first place.
EP - see you Sunday!

This seems to be like anything that Nike seemed to be involved in the organisation of - the Nike 10K in Richmond Park was also a disaster

Helegant back in training

EP - No help now, but it seems worth making a copy of the web-page when entering future events, rather than having to go back later to look at an updated(?) version.
I'm watching this debate. I didn't run GRIM, but I am forming an opinion about Nike.
A t shirt isn't 'worth' £15 until someone pays that much for it. And if they choose not to in future... the cost to Nike of the ill-will being engendered here must be more than that.
So come on, there must be someone with a bit of nouse at Nike, do the decent thing.

I'm with Juwels on this one. Lighten up and let your spirits dance. Can't believe you are still moaning so long after the event. Yes it was badly organised and it will without doubt be sorted next year. But it was a lot of fun and i thought that was the idea. I'm quite happy with the blue t I got sent thru and delighted someone nicked my canary yellow version.

We got a phone call from the organiser (I guess we were picked randomly) who asked the Vampire lots of questions about what we thought, she was on the phone for about 6 min so they are trying.

I got an e-mail this morning. They are refunding my entry fee and promise that the event will be vastly improved next year.
