Just wondering whether anyone is doing this. It looks really lovely - just as nice as Conniston, I hope. I seem to recall that it was praised in RW some time earlier in the year, unless I'm confusing it with another lovely Lakes run. Think I'll write off.

My entry went in 3 weeks ago. I have driven, cycled, walked and jogged the course many times and it will undoubtedly be the most scenic race I have ever done. Some very nice accommodation in Bampton is available as well. Yes, it was reviewed in the RW earlier this year.

Count me in. I'm looking for a challenge around that time and this looks a nice place to spend a couple of hours of heavy breathing, sweating and pain.

It will be my first half for 5 years - I have set my self the challenge of running 100 competitive km's in 2003 so this should be 21 per cent...

What a great way to set a goal, overall distance to be raced rather than times.

It sounds lovely, FF. See you and WW there, then :)
