Is anyone entering this? Is it a good race? Reviews suggest it's a good laugh

I'm entering as a training run for the Giant's Head Mara in June. And because it looks like a laugh

Kittenkat, you're a glutton for punishment. If you're doing Chester in October, I'm there too! I only entered Giant's Head yesterday, so training starts in earnest tomorrow

I've entered. It looks like fun! I've never done it before though.

I'm looking forward to this now. It'll make a change from the flat HM I'm doing at Silverstone next weekend

Did this one two years ago. Great fun. Quite hilly so be prepared and a good pair of off road shoes is recommended after all the rain we have had this winter.

I have no off road shoes, so I'll see if I can stretch to some cheap ish ones

Its great fun. There are some river crossings as well so you will get wet!

Is it for beginners or not???

I'm a trail beginner, and I'm in. Just doing it for the laugh though, rather than running for a serious time

Stephanie, why not do it for the laugh like me. It's my first trail run, but I have to start somewhere
