Please note that despite increasing the number of entries for this year's race we are now over two thirds full. If you are planning to run, don't delay.
We have listened to last year's feedback and offer the following for this year's race:
An improved system to iron out the flaws in last year's number collection process. In addition we plan to offer an opportunity for local runners to collect the day before the race.
A superb prize on offer to the race winner of the use of a rather sexy Hyundai Veloster sports coupe for a weekend. We are in further discussions to secure one for first lady too
A long sleeve hi-viz technical tshirt as race momento
Plus all of the usuals - chip timing, bottled water, great marshalls & fantastic cakes. What more do you want?
Sorry guys, no medal for our race. We have debated the issue of medals many times & have decided not to award a medal, but to provide a really good quality running top as our race momento and keep the cost of entry to a maximum of £20
To do this and use chip timing and provide bottled water out on the course, something had to give and we took the decision that medals were probably the least important aspect of the race, certainly in terms of value for money
You may not agree, but hopefully you'll understand
Just over a month to go until the race & we now have only 90 of 1000 places left to fill
Last chance saloon !
I'm informed that as of this morning, we now have just 8 places still available for our race on 2 September
Thanks for your support
Race is now **SOLD OUT**
Thanks again for your support for our race
