Same sort of thing here. Until last year I got an annual check up to get the cert to be able to race. A friend sent me a copy of her Medicine de Travail certificate though so just tipexed out name and date and filled in the necessary info. Voila!
If you dig around on the last Paris thread Dr Snoop posted a suggested doctor's letter text which people found helpful....

Thanks for the tips on the health thing.....will figure something out. Annoyingly was on club run last night though and my knee is a bit tender after - felt ok to run on, but when doing standing quad stretch (heel to bum) pain behind kneecap.

Hi all. I'm starting to panic a little about this now. My training has been pretty feeble the last month due to the arrival of a little puppy chez moi. Hopefully 5 and a bit weeks worth of effort will do the trick!

How you getting on Rach? My training has been dreadful since I ran a marathon in September!

Hiya, training has been okay although not as good as usual. Fecking work has just got in the way though and it looks like I'll be stuck in Paris that weekend. Will keep you posted but looking unlikely at the mo..... :(
You still coming over?

Thinking of doing the Boulogne half on 19th. Might as well try to squeeze a little pb out of all the half hearted training!

Just this minute returned from France.
3:09 in the marathon. That's 10 mins slower than last year; mind you it was about 10 degrees hotter too!
How did everyone else get on?
