It WAS a great race, strangely uncommercialised, and a great place to visit - would recommend the free Yellow Bikes to get around town, particularly post race!

Everyone who finished got a basket of oysters! My family werent too keen when I bought mine back for them, how ungrateful!Mind you I tried one - didnt make me feel very randy, just ill! Salty snot!

And I cant praise the post finish medical
support high enough! The rub down was almost worth collapsing for! Thanks Veronique x

I had a good w/e too. Sorry didn't get to meet you all but that's the way it goes sometimes (I blame Ryanair...)

Cetainly got my moneys worth out of the pasta party though. After that episode I'm glad I didn't have to run the next morning!!

Was absolutly freezing watching the event!
ps Rach that was me around the 9km mark (if you can remember)- god only knows how I managed to spot your name on your race number in amongst the crowds!!

Glad you had a good time. You'll have to run it next year though. It was (mostly) a lot of fun!

Congradulations to all of you. Unfortunately I got flu symptoms on the Friday night, I flew to La Rochelle, didnt sleep for two nights, I started the run but I soon realised my body wasnt happy, I got stuck on the 23rd km, I had to pull out then.that was the end of my adventure...I am annoyed, disappointed.C'est la vie....

Back in Blighty again and back to work :( A big well done to you all and was good to see some of you afterwards.

Moog and Tiger2, sorry to hear things didn't go as well as anticipated. Next year huh?

Oh dear tiger2. I didn't pack my trainers so I wouldn't be tempted to try and run! (And it worked too - I was wishing I'd packed them in the morning and glad I hadn't by the afternoon!)

Looked for you in the airport but the only red wind-jacket I saw turned out to be someone else (but that was cool - spent the weekend hanging with them!)

Outfoxed!!!
Did my usual "skinflint" tac-tic of visiting the official photographer's web-site, downloading my pictures and printing them off thus saving myself an extortionate amount of money.
However, the piccies were quite distorted. Is this a method of preventing me from benefitting from my aforementioned action and actually cough-up or would they still be distorted even if I was to part with my hard earned cash and buy them?

Hi moooog, sorry i didn't wear my red jacket, It was packed in my travelling bag.I felt rough at the airport and I didn't want to give you the flu.I hope to meet you all soon.my dossard number was 3071.don't laugh at th picture,I look like a tramp!What's yours Rach? anyone fancy Brighton Half marathon?
