Has anyone done this and have any good tips for altitude adjustment?its in june,and wont bear much relationship to Reading last month...

it may be hot, it may not - it's been both the last two years I've been there! Being just north of the equator, it's pretty much their "winter" in June.

The course is challenging and udulates quite a bit - yes, it's at altitude but not terribly high up, but it would help if you have some gentle jogs when you get there just to get the feel of it. 

The course is pretty dusty (unless it's raining!). If anyone wants a copy of a dvd of the race from 2006 I may be able to send you one or possibly rip something onto my web site (if I can ever get it back up and running again!) 

Eitherway, I'll see you at the finish line  and at the party that night!! Great fun - you'll love it!

Thanks for that,v helpful.not sure a dvd will prepare us for the full experience,but let me know if you get it working

theres a team of ten of us from the office going so it should be a great craic,and all levels of fitness and fatness will be represented.can't wait-see you there.
