Hi all , can any one help ? is there any way in which I can find old results for the London Marathon ? pre 2000 that is , and I dont mean just the elite I mean the rest of us ...cheers for any help ...

Bet I can. There is a massive book that lists all the results.

Haven't a clue what it is called but Royles in Wilmslow sell it, I looked myself up in it

Have you considered asking the organisers?  They would be the people most likely to know.
