Hi all i'm doing Mens health survival of the fittest 10k on 17th Nov any one done it before looking for some training tips clothing advice ect ..
I've also just signed up for this, really like the location and the idea of a urban 10km "obstacle" race/run I'd be tempted to suggest legging and gloves, but from the video footage I've found on youtube doesn't look like any one is wearing anything outside of normal running gear.
Ah wish I'd seen this earlier, I would have replied with advice! How did you both find it? I've written a race report here if you're interested: http://www.fitcetera.co.uk/2012/11/mens-health-survival-of-fittest.html
Slightly late getting back to this... it was great, though no where near as challenging as I'd thought it would be ( not that I done it in an impressive time or anything ). Now looking for something similiar for the early part of this year so that I can shift those few extra pounds I seem to have gained over christmas/new year
