I know American plitics is not something you all follow, but this is running related. At last nights annual dinner, one in which both candidates attend and make speeches poking fun at each ther and themsleves, this delightful one from Pres. Obama:

"I have to admit it can be a grind. Sometimes it feels like this race has dragged on forever. But Paul Ryan assured me that we’ve only been running for 2 hours and 50-something minutes."

Flight booked and paid for

Hotel booked (big, big thanks to ATM for the advice) and paid for (The Cujas Pantheon if anyone else is planning to stay there - £174 euros for two nights for single room)

Danirr - That is a fantastic quote. I like Obama - I think that he's the most level headed out of all of them.
