...and the beat goes on...
Anal sex update... I phoned the Blood people and rather surprisingly they didn't have an answer to my observation. I spoke to two people and neither was able to offer any answer and both said no one had mentioned it before. It has been referred to someone else, who will call me back...!
Bristol stool cake on FB.. love it... but worryingly realistic...!
Lunch update.. I had a very nice lunch today with yer_maj
Rain update... will it EVER stop raining and can we please have our sunshine and early summer back..?
oh, great... TOTP..
Now you have me wondering Eggy, maybe BF will know her?!?!
kaz, by 10pm we'll have the poor girl's DNA mapped...
DV, you're now on their 'dodgy punters' list. No more wee lie down and a cup of tea and a biscuit ,for you..
I feel my mojo coming back. Registering for http://www.coursedesembruns.com/parcours/index.html seems to have helped. Here's the course....
ATM, remember to pack your Elvis costume

I feel educated on blood transfusion. But could someone explain to me what anal sex is? I've tried to google it but my computer gave me a massage that they had sent a message to my IT department regarding the search. Confused...........

Your computer gave you a massage?
I wondered what that "control" button was for...
In some running related news...
I had a very quick 9 km today - maintained 5.35 min/km throughout except in the really big hilly bit.
Dunno what is inspiring the speed, but whatever it is, I'd like to bottle it.
And in Isle of Maus related news...
I can report a marked increase in morons on the road, notable through doubling of my usual honk rate. Instead of one or 2, I was honked at 4 times running today...
I did make it clear that I was only asking the question out of general interest... The people I spoke to said that all blood is screened regardless of what answers people provide on the sheets.
Eggy.. well done
ATM.. Looks lovely..

Sod the distance. I'm fearful I will need to erect my own tent.
Mr Tricky ITLR organiser person...Will there be strapping lads available to assist with tent erection?
Depends if you take your 'incentive wand' whether they're strapping or not. ;)

Doesn't there need to be haggis for it to be a proper Scottish romance?

Maus - You sound like a damsel in distress. Fear not, I volunteer to be your official tent (quickly thumbs through Thesaurus) putter-upper (I'm not saying the other word for fear of being misconstrued and labelled a pervert).RS - good to hear.Emmy - not good to hear.
I had a toenail go black after my last long run before Paris taper. It's clung on and now looks like kinda cool with a black front half and a white bottom half. Sort of like a battenburg cake, but monochrome and made out of toenail. Message me if you want a picture of it.
ATM - Looks a nice run that. Hill in the middle looks a bit steep tho.
Bloody DV brought the pissing rain with him today and left it here
He did, however, take my tent away with him, presumably to practice his Erection Skills.
Maus - I'm sure you'll find an obliging bloke to get it up for you.
As for the Stool Cake...I imagine that having seen that, nobody would want to take it up the wrong'un ever again. Blood screening or no blood screening
Ah Weedy. You're a gentleman and a scholar.
I've got the giggles tonight for a variety of reasons and the idea of your toenail as a battenburg cake is only but adding to the frivolity. Not to mention the idea of you and RS trading photos of them...
I could fancy that cake- with a nice big dollop (of chocolate).
DV - I'm donating tomorrow. Not sure I'll ask. I love the fact you rang NHSBT!
Weren't mine and Dannirr's answers enough explanation?!
I'm not allowed to donate - they exclude people who have been in sub-Saharan Africa in the last 10 years! Stupid.
DV - you wont need the tent for the June trip. At least I hope you wont.
In running related news, I have none. Other than I agreed to accompnay my older brother on his first half-marathon - the Toronto Waterfront Half and Full in Oct.
Maus - it's a threesome, emmy's getting in on the action. Finger feels a bit hot this morning so am on the lookout for infection.
In other news...kinda...I think I did something to my glute when I fell over on Friday and it's not good to run with. Yeah I'm a mess but am also very annoyed at myself now.
Glad to see that this thread never loses any of it's steam. Have fun today making your (blood) donation Iain.
Have fun getting your boiler fixed this evening Eggy (if that is possible?). Maybe it's possible, euphemistically. Must be nice to be dating a woman who can run you ragged
Just a thought - if anybody who is NOT participating in In The Long Run would like to be the proud owner of a Weedy-designed exclusive ITLR running shirt - at a VERY reasonable price (£12 or €15), you should send a message to Emmy_H. High quality running shirt but adds to the publicity we are trying to generate for our cause. And everyone looks good in bright orange.
Although...MM is clearly plenty visible already with all the attention she seems to be getting. Can't help but wonder if she has just carried on flashing after the VLM experience and that this could be the root cause of the extra honking?!?
And HelterSkelter - glad you've come in from the cold. Great to have you back here. Missed you in all the chatter. Why not stick around and get a good dose of warm feelings as a Paris veteran (and ITLR participant!). Lovely day to you all and hope you can get backdoor-lovin' out of your mind DV. Sometimes I think it's me who should be pointing a waggy finger at you!
