Hello all!

Back home safe and sound after a sreious shopping excursion around Glasgow - infinitely more exhausting than the HM!

Well done on those results FFB - fab times. Having driven around hilly Harris on Sunday i am in awe of you doing a faster time in Harris than Lewis - awesome, truly.

So - you beat your 10 hour target - so what does that make your sponsorship totals?

I'm afraid I didn't meet any of you other than FFB, having wimped out of the mara at the last minute. Although I did a fair bit of loitering at the finish line and prize giving. Hope you were all pleased with yourselves - you deserve to be after completing a mara in that unbelievable wind!!

Incidentally, the HM was really good, - pretty hilly and windy but beautiful as most of it was within the castle grounds. I finished in 1:37:48 officially, including stopping to tie my stupid shoelaces at 2 miles! Not a PB by any stretch but gradually crawling back to my pre-knee injury fitness at any rate. Would highly recommend the HM to you all anyway!

K9 - well done  That was a good time. My HM PB is only 1.52. Don't know how I pulled my times out of the bag. I am quite stiff and sore now, but not as bad as i thought I would be, but have a sprts massage booked tonight to 'flush' things out. Those arethe therapists words - sounds a bit painful.

I think that James will load his photoes up on Flickr, if not he is going to burn them onto a disk for me so I could load them up with some of my start photos.

Does anyone know if this is going to happen in 2009?

Don't think so: it was billed as a one-off
