What would be the best pre-race breakfast / supplement to have on the day of a race? My race starts at 10.30 am, so when should I eat last?

How far is your race?

For 10k or less, your usual brekkie will be fine, as will your usual break between eating and exercising.

Large bowl of porridge made with water, plenty of salt, some molasses sugar, and a banana.  1.5 - 2 hours before run.  (Assume is for a marathon.)  Works every time.
