Considering doing this as a sharpener the week before FLM, as I quite enjoy a slowish 5k then a brisk finish the week before a marathon - is the course reasonably flat, as don't want too tough a race the week before?

I've just entered for next year's run. Being a 50 minute flat road race 10K-er am I going to be left behind or do a mix of abilities enter this. Equally, given that 50 mintue time on a flat road course what am I likely to be doing round this?
