Mind if I butt in , better late then never I suppose.

I got my number weeks ago but then again I did enter it a few months ago.77.

I'm using this as more of a training run with lots of people as I've targeted leeds half the week after.
Shouldn't really be doing it but it is one of the best 10k's of the year in my opinion.
Hope everyone has a good race and gets the times their after.

For those of you onlinies, we're aiming to open registration at the leisure centre at around 8.45. If you haven't already got your number off the entry list www.ukresults.net/2006/rothwell.html then please do so and this will mean you can go straight to the desk to ask for your number.

Otherwise I'll pin up an alphabetical list of all entries so you can find your name (if I've spelt it right!) and then get your race number. It will slow things down if you go to the desk without knowing your number as there will be 2 desks running (half the numbers on each) and you're bound to have gone to the wrong one!

If you need to do a number swap (i.e. you're taking someone else's place) then come and see me with a completed transfer form - there's no extra charge for this - you're expected to compensate the non-runner direct.

If you've lost (!) your number, then come and see me and I'll issue you with a replacement totallty free of charge. PLEASE DON'T RUN WITHOUT A NUMBER - you may be prevented from finishing by a big burly bloke in a yellow vest!

After the race, we'll get the results processed as quickly as possible and will post lists for you to look at in the registration room which is to the right at the top of the main staircase in the leisure centre (and also doubles as the bar later!!).

Please remember that the race is FULL - there are no entries on the day (except for Paula Radcliffe if she fancies an easy jog at the font of the field).

Above all I hope the weather is kind tto you all tomorrow! See you at Rothwell.....

We'll done on another brilliantly organised race. I've done this the last four years and cant fault it. The k markers really help to calculate your time on the way round. Again the weather was kind to us, not too hot.
Results were posted shortly after the race so an excellent job to get them logged into the computer. My only problem was at the start. I managed to get at the back and hit plenty of slower runners, but I'm sure next year if the start is the same I'll know where to position myself.

Yes, my third time this year and even the weather is well organised for this race. A PB as well today. Thanks to all at Rothwell Harriers and a speedy results service as well, well done!

Just updated the results a bit - thanks to www.taimages.com for their race photos - helped me to resolve some duplicated numbers at the finish line.

I think the results are as good as I can get them at present - please let me know if there are any glaring errors!

Just a big thanks to everyone involved with yesterdays event especially the marshalls who did a great job.

My only concern was the start whereby everyone was herded into the school car park and then there weren't any further instructions by the starter to leave at the other entrance/exit, leaving people still coming out of the car park once the siren had been given for the start.

Other than that, a perfect race!! and a PB to go with it.

I'll be there next year for sure.
