Afternoon - I have been doing teh short commute to work - 40/50 miles due tomorrow

I still have plantar problems it just wont go its very irritating now

Thinking about doing Berlin again next year (Sep 29) - anyone fancy a weekend away?

Well thats far enough away for me to get rid of the plantar and go for a PB

Off to do an 8.8 mile XC relay leg this afternoon - club thing, shortest race I've ever done, not sure my body will cope with the shock

Entries open for Berlin on 25 Oct and get more expensive the longer you leave it (will sell out too of course).

40 someting miles biked not quite sure how many I didn't have the Garmin and I can't remember some of the twiddly bits when I look at a map

8.8 miles of jumping through rivers and mud all done - bring on the fresh smell of tarmac.

I had to work again this morning. Its so annoying as I just felt I'd got work back under control! I managed to pot some pansies this afternoon but that was as enertgetic as it got! Road ride planned for tomorrow.

Normality restored this morning with 13.2 miles on road - quicker pace than yesterdays XC and felt soo much easier. Can't beat the fresh smell of tarmac in the morning.

We had the fresh smell of tarmac too this morning. Set of in a heavy frost at 9am this morning, 47 miles into the Dales and back. I'm quite pleased with the pace as we weren't particularly trying.

I've been looking at new bike bling on the internet this afternoon. My road bike is getting very battered with commuting on it and now is the right time to get a deal on the 2012 models as the bike shops try to get rid of them before the 2013 stock comes in. Unfortunately the bike I was thinking about is sold out in my size....... however they do have the next model up........

I have had two OK nights sleep with no yowling form merlin I am not sure if he actually ate some calming stuff, isn't feeling well (seems perky enough) or he got the message when i locked him downstairs Friday nigth when he started before I even went to sleep in the first place
