Maddy , a friend is just about to start running again after a stress fracture...thankfully all has healed after lots of rest. fingers crossed for you.
Glad to see Paul is still churning out the marathons ...and Phys is running races ...ready for her next marathon;)
btw I finally have a new laptop so venturing back on here. The i phone just isn't the same for the internet ...especially as my eyesight is deteriorating and I need reading glasses over my contact lenses.
Waves at Fifi - ignore grumpy draws
I can ride but have been advised not to do a climbing session I had planned this week - never climbed before so the chances I fall off the wall and land heavily are high
Short cycle commute again, successfully dodging heavy rain at both ends of the day.
I'm not planning any marathons anytime soon. (Don't tell Paul). What about you Fifi?
Lucky to get home only an hour late today - trains are a mess in SW England
Bit wet basically
Well the gales have truly arrived, glad to be tucked up for a nice 6 miler indoors on the treadie.
I am still at work - roads and gust too dangerous to ride on and thanks to the internet I know the train I was planning to get has been cancelled so staying a bit longer than planned even
The gales have only just hit here. I chose not to go on my bike this morning as the forecast was so bad for later and it was definitely the right decision. Doesn't seem anything like as bad as it sounds down there.
Rain has mostly stopped here. I'm sitting in composing interview questions for tomorrow. Down to just 2 applicants as one never even replied, despite sending me her CV a week earlier, and another got a different job already.
Afternoon - its a very pleasant afternoon for November - lots of debris in the river though
Indoor running campaign continues with another 6 miler on the treadie.
Very long day for me. I was at a business breakfast, that I was pressured into joining at 6:40 this morning! Then interviewing and paperwork and no exercise....
Now I have a headache but I'm treating it with grape juice.
It was all a bit masonic for me, especially before 8 on a Friday!
Not flexible at all it turns out. All good enough to employ, but in different ways. And none able to cover the gaps I actually have. If I used them all a bit I'd be sorted, but I'm not really sure they all just want "a bit" of work.
Enjoy your dinner Paul. Pizza night here.
Morning, Bright and crisp here first thing. E still struggling with his fatigue problems and I'm shattered so exercise today is limited to a walk. 2 hours through local, very muddy, woods.
Wet, windy and horrible this morning, but E and I did find a dryish window to get a short walk in. That might be it for today as we have a first birthday party to go to.
