Afternoon
Remarkably managed to find a dryish 15.7 mile route this morning, even if it was an out and back.
Evening
Drying out a bit here - I have a busy week - first xmas thing tomorrow straight after work then surrey on wed and portsmouth on thurs - better get some washing and ironing done
Its not been drying out here. Non-stop rain all day so I decided against the cycle commute.
Afternoon - I did the cycle commmute in it last week - but then I have warm showers and a drying room to get kit dry before I go home
Managed to scrape through my annual 1.5 mile fitness test this morning
Club run tonight and it isn't raining.
Well done Paul. Is the test to check you can manage to stop?!
Short cycle commute done here. Another interview tomorrow with someone who thought she'd got a job elsewhere but it fell through. Fingers crossed she's better able to do the hours I need but still a good candidate.
No exercies except a mini walk this morning.
However a very good interview with someone who seems to really fit the bill AND is flexible on hours Only drawback is she's a 29 year old female so I can see what's going to happen......... Still she's by far the best candidate, so as long as they don't all go off to have babies at the same time we should be able to work around it.
Scary yellow orb thing in the sky today was a bit freaky. 6 miler in the warm on the treadie was the best medicine.
One hotel two taxis three lifts and 5 trains and I have completed my short tour of south west england
Another 6 miler done, still comfortasbly ahead of the 2012 mile target for the year. Off to the (second claim) running club Annual Dinner tonight - should be a laugh.
14.7 chilly and hilly miles all done this morning - coffee and cake afterwards
Evening all
Well done Paul. Lots of excess it sound like, but lots of running too.
We're just back from the Dales. It was such a good forecast and we are both feeling very fed up, especially with E being unwell so decided we needed cheering up. A nice evening in a hotel, and a beautiful meander birdwatching by the river was just the ticket. It was soooo frosty and icy, but sunny too. Amazing views. What winter should be like
MORNING!!
EVENING.
Why are we shouting??
I chickened out and went in the car today, as we'd has some freezing rain and I didn't fancy the bike on the road on ice. I have finally recruited for the job, fingers crossed its the right person and they don't start having babies too soon!
!! Paul. Quite.
