Well done.

How many more marathons will you get in before then?

My personal estimate is ..... 0

You could be one planned is late Feb........the winter is rubbish for marathons. Was Dubai Marathon today too.....shame I wasn't 't there this year, especially with the first 5 finishers under 2:05.

Oh yes, why didn't you go this year?

Some sunshine would really go down well for this household right now.

Probably going back in October when it is hotter.

The sun is shining and the weather is fine.......

2 lovely runs this morning -  a slow 6.5 with the ladies marathon group and a faster 7.5 with the men.

I hear you are digging out after the snow overnight phys?

Well done on running Paul.

Extremely heavy snow overnight so E and I had a very amusing off road "cycle" in. It was so deep and soft my pedals were going under snow on every stroke! Another instructor did make it in and we had enough clients to run 5 out of 6 classes.

4 hours snow clearing, one for me, 3 for E plus 8 miles biking. We went the longer way home as the sun was shining and enough people had been out to pack down the paths a bit.

Mrs A has made good her escape down to the sunny Midlands.

Heavy rain overnight has cleared through and taken the last stubborn remnants of the white stuff with it. Off to lead another club run this morning.

Hopefully Mrs A will arrive with little doggy company this afternoon.

Hilly 14 miler done in the sunshine this morning

27/01/2013 at 16:26

Evening. It rained so heavy it kept me awake last night. Nearly all the snow has gone now, which is almost worrying considering how much there was yesterday!

I'm having a very lazy day, I have to see the dentist again next week and don't want to get shouted at again. So, thanks Paul for doing enough miles for the thread this weekend!

Has the dog arrived yet?

My pleasure, 187 miles for the month so far.

I'm nearly keeping up with you in bike miles. 123 so far. This week as been a bit of a let down, but the tiredness and the snow caught up with me.

We have the patter of (not so) tiny feet in the house.
28/01/2013 at 19:18

I bet teh patter turns into a stampede if my kitten is anything to go by

Bit blowy with very stong gusts i didn't envy the cyclists riding into it as I was walking away

Evening. Is he cute Paul?

Yes, Maddy, very gusty if you're on a bike, which I just have been. Wet too. E made a cake today though so it was lovely to walk into a warm house, smelling of lovely baking

She is, a miniature Schanuzer by the name of Izzy. Settling in quite well, must be quite an upheaval at 7 months old.

yes 7 months is a bit older than a puppy normally moves it must be a bit of a shock for her
