I went for a 30 (total in the end) bike ride with a potential new club rider - slow but still more claories burnt than sitting on the sofa

The weird globe was following me on the ride

Have been fighting off the man flu for a day or 3. Ran on one lung really yesterday but today have decided to be sensible and not run. Shame because the sun is going to shine and I had a 16 miler planned. Never mind, well ahead on the mileage target so far this year so a rest won't hurt. More paracetamol required

Man flu continues but not getting any worse. No running again today (although Mon is normally my rest day). Hopefully back on it tomorrow, have a marathon at the weekend so need some miles

Evening. Keep being sensible Paul. If you are running a marathon at the weekend I think you should rest until a leg loosener the day before.

I worked all weekend and all day today, thereby missing all the lovely sunshine

No exercise, I couldn't even face the cycle commute today as I was really tired.

Well done on the bike miles Maddy

Evening. Another gorgeous day here, most of which I was indoors working but I did manage to sneak out of work just before the light went for a 2.6 mile run home.

Nice, fast ish 10.3 miler this evening - not feeling 100% but I would guesstimate about 80%. Good to be back pounding the streets.

Nice and easy 8 miler with the marathon ladies training group tonight. Cold out there.......brrrrrrr.

Just a walk with E this morning. Long work day, too tired for the commute after the late finish.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Paul

Terrible week for exercise for me this week. I've just been so tired since working the weekend. I'm just forgetting about it and starting again tomorrow.

I'm getting inspired by British World Champions on the track again

Go Yatesey!

Blimey that was cold - decent run though in 3:22 on a hilly, trail course. About 10th place I think and marathon 124 done. 2 months since my last marathon before this ..........thud.

Still not doing well with the exercise. Struggling with tiredness and motivation but managed a 10 mile trip on the bike along the canal to pick the car up from where we left it last night.

Looks like we avoided the worst of the weather, it's snowing here again now!

Well done Paul. 124 is a lot of marathons. Good time as well for a trail marathon

On the sauce last night phys?

Out at a mate's 40th. Not too big a night but we both fancied a drink so taxi'd home. E thought it might be the only way to get me spins any exercise at all!

Evening. I got back on the bike for a short commute today. 6 very cold miles!
