You might enjoy a read of this....
Thanks Paul - that did make me laugh. I can see their point when I see the number...
I was planning on exercising this morning, but today was changeover day for the phone line at work. BT assured me that the number would be kept and the change would be seamless.....
After 2 hours messing about with BT and our phone providers this morning we now have a different work phone number... Grrrrrr......
I could've done with the exercise to help with the frustration!
Short cycle commute. Gorgeous weather here but was too late at work ( trying to sort phones out!) to go longer way home. Here's hoping the weather stIckes for the bank holiday weekend.
I took a longer ride home today as well 12/13 miles I think - I got off a station early and took the scenic route - beautiful day
My weekend has started
Very easy 6 mile off road club run tonight in fabulous weather.
My weekend has started too
Hopefully getting some exercise in this weekend. Just 2.5 weeks until the next 10k....
Late night out at a concert in Winchester last night. Marathon tomorrow.
which mara Paul?
Weather a bit hit and miss today. Spending day in garden, once grape allergy effects settle!
North Dorset Villages Marathon, so very local for me. Hopefully pacing a club mate to a 3:15 for a GFA and better Boston Qual time.
Lovely and sunny here, hopefully cooler tomorrow and an 0830 start should help.
No need to rub it in Paul. We've been in fleeces in the garden today, the wind is freezing and the sun only made it out a few times I hope it improves over the next few days.
Pea seedlings are the first plants in the new veg patch, and spinach and beetroot seeds are planted. We couldn't plant out the runner beans as we realised we didn't have tall enough canes for how tall we hope them to get...
Mountain biking planned for tomorrow.
Good luck for today Paul. I hope you get your friend round in the time they want
Warm morning again - quite tough work for a 3:13, happy with that as I was pacing for most of it. My mate ran a 4 min PB and 3:17 - missed the sub 3:15 target but did achieve the sub 3:20 needed for a GFA. Job done
27 miles done in the Dales It was very overcast and not as warm as I'd hoped but good fun all the same. It is really dry under wheel, we only managed to find the tiniest bit of mud.
How are the Dorset Villages Paul?
Oops, I've got that echo again, so only read the last post from myself...
Well done Paul, and Paul's mate. Does that get him in to Boston then?
Guy only needs a 3:25 for a BQ but that is the slowest time he could get in with. A 3:17 gives him a much better chance.
Going to be a warm one for Fi running @ Milton Keynes today.
Is Fi doing a marathon?
Its film ally warmed up here too. 30 road miles done on my lovely, shiny new bike I bought it ages ago and this the first weekend day that has been dry enough, with no salt on the roads for me to risk riding it!
Rest day here for me.
Fi was running Milton Keynes marathon today, I think she might have melted.
